In my shop, Beth's Card Creations, I see party trends come and go with the seasons and months. While many months of the year have specific holidays which inspire decor, January, once New Year's Eve is done, is one of those months that leave people pondering how to decorate for an upcoming birthday.
Probably the most popular January birthday theme, at least for girls, is a Frozen party, so I have been fun adding decor to my shop centering around this theme.
My hanging white glitter snowflake garlands have become a popular addition to Frozen parties.
Recently, I got a Sizzix snowflake die to make these sparkly glitter snowflakes in the Frozen colors of silver, lavender, turquoise, and teal. So sparkly and fun!
Alternately, these same snowflakes can be made in white. These snowflakes are a bit bigger and sturdier than the white glitter snowflakes shown above. They also are less likely to tangle.
A "Let it Go" banner is a great addition as a backdrop to the food or cake table.
Or, go with a less Frozen phrase, and simply opt for a Let It Snow banner.
Or add a whole explosion of glitter with these beautiful medallions in turquoise, teal, and silver. These are my personal favorite. They are so sparkly and colorful.
These medallions match well with my glitter circle garlands made in the same glitter colors.
Have fun decorating this month! Here is a list of items I used to make this decor:
